Jamie Bennett

Jamie Bennett is a Texas public affairs professional with a decade of experience across political communications, public relations, and corporate public policy.

Prior to joining The Poplar Group, Bennett operated his own consulting firm servicing political and non-profit clients. Bennett advances client priorities by drawing on a diverse range of experience across state and national politics, including communication and policy roles at the Texas Senate, Republican Party of Texas, Texas Public Policy Foundation, U.S. House of Representations, and a Republican presidential campaign. Additionally, Bennett has managed corporate, political, association, and non-profit clients for two other consultancies, The Monument Group and Potomac Strategy Group.

A fifth-generation Texan, Bennett lives in Austin, TX with his wife and daughter. Bennett earned a degree in mathematics from Texas A&M University.
